June Training Insights

This month in the KRACHT45 classes, the main strength focus will be on the front squat and a variety of unilateral shoulder press variations. Expect plenty of work challenging stability, balance, and upper body strength from different positions and setups.

We’ll also continue practicing clean complexes, building coordination, timing, and confidence with the barbell while improving overall movement quality.

And yes,  the chin-ups are staying. Once a week, we’ll keep working through sets of 8 chin-ups, focusing on building tolerance to higher pulling volume and developing stronger, more resilient upper bodies.

Conditioning-wise, you’ll see many new metcons throughout the month, alongside the return of some old favorites. That means plenty of opportunities not only to experience fresh challenges, but also to revisit familiar workouts and try to beat your previous scores.

Expect a month full of variety, hard work, and opportunities to improve across every aspect of your training.

In the Strength class, we continue moving through the second block of our big strength cycle, focused on building a strong foundation and gradually transitioning toward the max strength phase. The structure stays familiar and effective: heavy lower body lifts, bench press work, and complementary upper body accessories to build balanced strength and resilience.

Expect the intensity to continue rising, with sessions centered around controlled heavy lifting and consistent progress under load. And of course, we’ll keep plenty of core work in the program, because strong lifting always starts with a strong and stable trunk.

Around the middle of June, we’ll step into the next block of the cycle, shifting the focus further toward maximal strength and heavier efforts.

This phase is about patience, consistency, and accumulating quality work that sets the stage for big lifts later in the cycle.

In Olympic Weightlifting, we’ll finish the current cycle around the middle of the month before smoothly transitioning into a new one. The focus remains on developing strong, efficient movement patterns through the classic lifts and their variations.

You can expect the same beautiful and challenging complexes to stay part of the program, alongside carefully selected accessories that support every phase of the lifts. These combinations are designed to improve timing, positioning, pulling strength, and confidence overhead while continuing to build technical consistency under the bar.

As always, the goal is not only to lift heavier, but to move better, sharper, and more confidently with every session.
